Core Service

Psychiatric Evaluation

Every journey begins with understanding. Our comprehensive psychiatric evaluations provide a safe space to explore your history, symptoms, and goals, forming the foundation of your personalized care plan.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a psychiatric evaluation take?

Initial evaluations typically last 60-90 minutes, allowing ample time for a thorough assessment and discussion of treatment options.

Do I need to prepare anything before my evaluation?

We recommend bringing a list of current medications, any previous psychiatric or medical records, and a brief summary of your current concerns and goals.

Ongoing Care

Medication Management

Medication can be a powerful tool in your mental health journey. We believe in thoughtful, collaborative prescribing—never a one-size-fits-all approach.

Common Questions

How do I know if medication is right for me?

We discuss your symptoms, past treatments, and personal preferences during your evaluation. Medication is recommended only when it aligns with your goals and clinical needs.

How often will I need follow-up visits?

Initially, follow-ups are scheduled every 2-4 weeks. Once stable, visits may extend to monthly or quarterly, depending on your individual needs.

Stability

Bipolar & Mood Disorders

Navigating mood disorders like Bipolar Disorder requires careful, specialized care. We provide expert mood stabilization and ongoing monitoring to help even out the highs and lows.

Understanding Bipolar Disorder

Bipolar Disorder causes extreme mood swings that include emotional highs (mania or hypomania) and lows (depression). There are several types:

Bipolar I

Manic episodes lasting at least 7 days, or severe mania requiring hospitalization. Depressive episodes also occur.

Bipolar II

Depressive episodes with hypomanic episodes (less severe than full mania).

Objective Data

QB Testing

QbTest is an FDA-cleared, objective assessment tool that measures attention, impulsivity, and activity to support accurate ADHD diagnosis and treatment monitoring.

What It Measures

  • Attention: Ability to focus on a task
  • Impulsivity: Ability to inhibit responses
  • Activity: Motor activity levels during the test

Why Use QB Testing

  • • Objective, measurable data
  • • Supports accurate ADHD diagnosis
  • • Monitors treatment effectiveness
  • • Non-invasive, 15-20 minute test

How the Test Works

During the test, you complete a computerized task while a motion-tracking camera records your movements. The test compares your results to a normative database of individuals without ADHD.

Results provide objective data that, combined with clinical assessment, help confirm or rule out ADHD.
